Build and Conquer updates
Build and Conquer patch history and roadmap: the V0.1 playable update, quality-of-life changes, missile and steel chain reworks, and what the developers.
Build and Conquer is a beta game that patches every few days, and the changes are big enough that last month's guide can be wrong. This page tracks what actually changed, in plain language.

The V0.1 update
- New tutorial and quality-of-life pass.
- Level 5 city added, with the glass tower apartment (180 population) and a new commercial tower line at the top end.
- Two new drones added, bringing the game to three, plus new drone models.
- Missile VFX rework — trails, smoke and explosions.
- Steel chain added. Steel works now produce steel for missiles, and trucks deliver it to factories.
- Nuclear power plant quest enabled: reach city level 4, then hold the capture point to unlock.
- Cluster missile added to the weapon lineup; cluster damage later buffed by 20.
- Economy rebalance, including tax tuning.
Recent patch highlights
From the in-game patch notes and community coverage:
- Missile launch delay added: 7.1 seconds between launches.
- Anti-air buffed across the board — air defence is now better value than it was at launch.
- Mine limit raised from 10 to 12.
- Storage capacity buffed, so you can hold bigger resource reserves.
- Iron Dome bugs fixed.
- Truck and industry bugs fixed — steel deliveries were visibly broken for a day and then repaired.
- Spawning and server stability fixes, including half-in-the-ground spawning and server shutdown behaviour.
- Joining friends fixed.
The roadmap the developers have shown
Read from the in-game roadmap by community video — the developers say it can change:
| Window | Planned |
|---|---|
| Current | 0.1 playable update, QoL, UI rework |
| Next | Military rework: ground unit rework, military production improvements |
| Later | Road rework, city rework, economy rework, map expansion |
| Later | Aerial units (jets) |
| Later | 0.8: trade system expansion |
| Later | Naval units |
If you are planning a long build, the military rework is the one to watch: ground units and production are explicitly getting reworked, so do not rebuild your whole army around the current ground balance.
Staying current
The game updates faster than any guide can. This page is rewritten whenever a patch changes something described in it, and every other page that quotes numbers is updated in the same pass.
