Machines and buildings
Every building family in Build and Conquer in one place: power plants, water networks, roads, farms, factories, shops, housing and neighbourhoods
Build and Conquer asks you to build a country out of about a dozen building families, and each one has a job in the chain. This section is the reference shelf: one page per family, with what it produces, what it needs and the habits that keep it working.

Building families
| Family | Page | Job |
|---|---|---|
| Housing | Housing and apartments | Population — the base stat |
| Shops | Shops and supermarkets | Money from population |
| Roads | Roads and plot layout | Placement grid and truck logistics |
| Farms | Farms and food | Land production |
| Factories | Factories | Missiles, vehicles and rockets |
| Power | Coal-fired power plant · Nuclear power plant | Keep everything running |
| Water | Water networks | District service coverage |
| Districts | Neighbourhoods | How the blocks fit together |
The order that works
Roads first, then housing for population, then shops for income, then utilities to keep them running, then industry and military. Most problems in a big city trace back to one of these being skipped — see fixes and problems when something will not build.
