HIMARS launcher

The HIMARS in Build and Conquer: a rocket artillery vehicle that doubles as your best spotter, why it needs its own rockets produced, and how to use it.

Last verified 2026-10-11 · Build and Conquer V0.1 (beta)

Quick answer

HIMARS is rocket artillery with the best sight range in the game, which makes it your scout as well as your fire support. It needs its own rockets built, so queue the rocket production before you need the fire.

HIMARS is the unit experienced Build and Conquer players reach for first, and not mainly for its rockets. Its long sight range makes it the best scout on the mainland: park one and you can watch an enemy's movement, call targets for missiles, and decide whether a push is worth it at all.

Key facts

ItemDetail
TypeRocket artillery vehicle, produced at the military base
Extra requirementIts rockets must be produced separately — no rockets, no fire
Signature useLong-range spotting and target marking
Cost patternRefined materials and money, plus rocket production

Using it well

  1. Build rockets before you build the launcher. The most common HIMARS mistake is owning one with nothing to fire.
  2. Scout first, fire second. Move it forward, look, then decide. A HIMARS that dies on its first push was wasted.
  3. Pair with tanks. Community guides describe one HIMARS plus a tank line as a complete attack package — the HIMARS finds, the tanks finish.
  4. Keep one home. A HIMARS watching the approaches to your own plot is a cheap early-warning system.

On the mainland

HIMARS is deployed through your tunnel like any other unit, moved with right-click, and it turns your base PvP on like any deployment. Its value is highest in the scouting phase of a sector fight, when knowing where the enemy's units are decides whether there is a fight at all.
