Hypersonic ballistic missile
The hypersonic BM in Build and Conquer: the B-Strike HGV, its 100-hit unlock quest, why it is so hard to intercept, and what to aim it at when it lands.
The hypersonic BM is the fourth missile: 100 hits on enemy ground units or buildings. It flies very high, which makes it the hardest missile in the game to intercept — save it for targets that matter.
The hypersonic ballistic missile — the B-Strike HGV in the French Military Pack — is the weapon that makes layered defence nervous. It climbs extremely high before coming down, and in practical terms that means most interceptor networks simply do not get a clean shot at it.

Key facts
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Unlock quest | 100 hits on enemy ground units or buildings |
| Flight profile | Climbs very high, then dives — hard to intercept |
| Cost per launch | Steel + fuel + money, like every missile |
| Best targets | Whatever your enemy most needs to still exist |
Why the hundred hits is worth it
Every other missile in the game can be intercepted, so against a defended country they can be wasted in bulk. The hypersonic's high flight path is the answer to that: community testing describes a "pretty high chance to hit" even into a defended base. One hypersonic into a power plant can do more than five SRBMs that never land.
Grinding the hundred hits
Community guide footage shows the reliable method: farm ground units, not buildings. Buildings sit behind the anti-air that makes hits expensive; a vehicle on the mainland is a free hit. Some players grind it out with a single HIMARS and a tank line, using the HIMARS's long sight to find targets and the tanks to finish. If you can find a cooperative neighbour, closing the last hits in a friendly duel is faster and cheaper than raiding strangers.
Once it is unlocked
Keep a hypersonic in reserve for the moment defence matters — the enemy push on your sector, or the war that started because you took one. A hypersonic is a threat even when it never launches.
Full unlock order: SRBM → GLCM → MRBM → hypersonic, all covered in the missile guide.
