MRBM — B-Strike 2500

The MRBM in Build and Conquer: the B-Strike 2500 medium-range ballistic missile, its 25-hit unlock quest, and why it becomes the workhorse of a missile war.

Quick answer

The MRBM is the third missile you unlock: 25 hits on enemy ground units or buildings. It hits harder than the SRBM and GLCM, making it the missile you fire at power plants, refineries and commercial districts once the quest is done.

By the time you unlock the MRBM — the B-Strike 2500 in the French Military Pack — you are no longer learning the missile system, you are using it. Twenty-five hits is a real grind, but the payoff is the missile that most wars in Build and Conquer are actually decided with.

Key facts

ItemDetail
Unlock quest25 hits on enemy ground units or buildings
RoleMedium-range ballistic missile; serious damage per launch
Cost per launchSteel + fuel + money — a real draw on your industry
Launch delay7.1 seconds, so plan two- and three-missile strikes

What to aim it at

  1. Power plants. A dark city produces nothing, and players rarely keep a spare grid.
  2. Refineries and steel works. Kill the input and their missiles stop coming.
  3. Commercial districts. Income is the thing they rebuild slowest.
  4. Anything holding a sector. A contested bonus is worth more than a destroyed building.

Grinding the twenty-five hits

Do it in one sitting on a quiet server if you can. The community method is unchanged from the SRBM: target ground units rather than buildings, ask a friendly player to be a practice target, and keep a stockpile of missiles ready so you can fire immediately when an opportunity appears. And build interceptors before you start — a player grinding missile quests is exactly the player everyone attacks.

The full chain: SRBM → GLCM → MRBM → hypersonic BM.
